Your COMMITMENT To Us
GET THE JOB DONE (The necessary stuff)
- Arrive at your station ready to work at scheduled time and in proper uniform
- Work at a brisk and steady pace, including multitasking, efficiency, and time management
- Recipe knowledge when prepping or assisting with any other production step
- Use scales, commercial equipment, recipe cards and perform portion control tests
- Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a “like new” condition
- Understand the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceed the guests’ needs in a timely and efficient manner
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and pastries including, but not limited to: Cookie Doughs, Cakes, Brownies, Muffins, Breakfast Breads, Custards, mousses, etc.
- Decorate and Present Pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
- Knowledge of How baking ingredients work together and how they can be used in creative ways
- Attention to Detail
- Physical strength and Stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions
- Assist in the training of new pastry employees
- Other job duties as assigned
- Be a MIBE (Make It Better Everyday) Leader
- Model appropriate behavior and encourage team members to follow suit.
- Support a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality service staff employees.
- Act as an ambassador of the Company by sharing the Company’s core values, vision and direction with others.
- Active participation in collaborative effort dates, assisting with duties outside your typical realm of responsibility during all hands-on deck dates (within reason and with advance notice).
- In process of or Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, or 2 years Production Pastry experience with a Bakery, Caterer, or Restaurant
- Safe food handling and safety is a top priority
