Butler Rescue Hands, Inc. is seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to support a female client in Branford, CT. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of an individual living with dementia.
Schedule:
8-hour shifts (consistent schedule – details provided upon interview)
Client Overview:
- Female client
- Diagnosis: Dementia
- No pets in the home
- Non-smoking environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and ensure client safety at all times
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide meal preparation and encourage proper nutrition
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying living areas, dishes)
- Engage client in meaningful activities and companionship
- Monitor for changes in condition and report appropriately
- Maintain a calm, patient, and supportive approach at all times
Requirements:
- Experience with dementia care strongly preferred
- Must be reliable, patient, and compassionate
- Ability to follow care plans and directions
- Strong communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
