Student Worker: Ceramics Studio
Job Duties
This position will offer support to the Ceramics Studio. Key duties entail:
- Mixing clay and glazes
- Loading and Unloading Kilns
- General kiln upkeep including: vacuuming kilns and washing kiln shelves
- General studio upkeep including: cleaning of the studio and kiln room, washing floors, and inventory

Qualifications
Required knowledge and skills
- Ability to establish and maintain productive work relationships with staff, students and employers.
- Able to work independently to complete assignments accurately with little supervision.
Required experience
- Prior ceramics experience desirable, but not required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be detail oriented
Required educational background
Must be enrolled in at least one credit hour at Butler Community College.
