Overview
We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and friendly individual to assist customers behind the counter, as well as at the checkout in our Meat Market. Pay is commensurate with experience, knowledge, and ability. Must be 18 years of age to apply.
Responsibilities
- Get meats from the case as requested by the customer, weigh and label them
- Slice meats and cheeses on slicer
- Answer phone and take orders
- Use cash register to ring customers' orders
- Steam seafood
- Give excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous experience preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices within the food industry beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
