Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sauté Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates both skill and consistency on the sauté station. This position requires strong teamwork, clear communication, and a proven track record of excellence.
Responsibilities
Execute dishes with precision and consistency on the sauté station.
Follow recipes, plating standards, and kitchen procedures to uphold the Butcher and Barrel experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and front-of-house staff.
Assist with prep work, inventory, and daily station setup/breakdown.
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local health regulations.
Work collaboratively as part of a driven and supportive team.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of line cook experience in a professional kitchen (steakhouse or fine dining experience preferred).
Strong knife skills and sauté technique.
