Busy B's Little Learners is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team! If you have a passion for working with young children and want to make a positive impact every day, we'd love to hear from you.
As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you'll work alongside the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Supervise children during play, meals, rest time, and outdoor activities
- Encourage positive behavior and model kindness and respect
- Assist with daily care routines, including diapering, toileting, and handwashing
- Prepare classroom materials and learning centers
- Communicate effectively with the Lead Teacher regarding children's needs and progress
- Follow all state licensing regulations and Busy B's Little Learners policies
- Maintain confidentiality for all children and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass all required background checks

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Work Environment
- Fast-paced, child-centered preschool setting
- Daily interaction with young children
- Exposure to normal classroom noise, activity, and occasional childhood illnesses
