Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and eager Facilities Support Technician to join our Properties team. This entry level position supports both housekeeping and facility maintenance functions, serving as a flexible resource for general facility needs, contributing to the efficient operation of terminal, hangar, and surrounding workspaces. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, takes initiative, and is committed to maintaining a clean and well-functioning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist facility cleaners in maintaining overall cleanliness of the facility, hangar floors, and ramp.
• Support facility technicians with preventative maintenance activities, including basic repairs, inspections, and equipment upkeep.
• Escort contractors and vendors while onsite for specialized work or larger repairs to ensure compliance with facility access and safety requirements.
• Assist with moving furniture, setting up workspaces or events, and minor remodeling tasks.
• Assist other departments with preventative maintenance to company equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized state.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with applicable regulations for all facility maintenance and inspections.
• Other odd jobs and responsibilities as tasked to maintain an efficient and functioning facility.
  
  

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in custodial, facility maintenance, or related work preferred but not required.
  
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong troubleshooting and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Team oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Manual dexterity; must be able to physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to various weather conditions. This position requires working in indoor, outdoor, and hangar settings. The employee may be exposed to loud noise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demands regularly required are to frequently squat, crawl, climb ladders, along with the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
