About the Position
The Sales Executive will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship development to project coordination and post-installation follow-up. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, design sensibility, and hands on project management. Working closely with design, project management, and installation teams, you’ll ensure every project runs smoothly, meets deadlines, and exceeds client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and manage long term client relationships across commercial, education, healthcare, and government sectors.
- Develop new business through networking, community engagement, and strategic outreach.
- Partner with design and project management teams to deliver creative, functional workspace solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and product solutions aligned with client goals and budgets.
- Manage projects from initial consultation through installation, ensuring quality and communication at every stage.
- Strategize with team members to enhance the customer experience and secure any and all potential revenue.
- Represent Business Interiors at industry and community events to grow brand presence and strengthen connections.
- Consistently achieve sales goals while delivering exceptional client experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the furniture, design, or interiors industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.
- Excellent project management ability and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CET Designer, AutoCAD, or similar software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
