Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This position involves providing critical care to high-acuity adult patients with complex medical conditions in a Level II Trauma Center while collaborating with a multidisciplinary critical care team. (BI02)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage ventilated and critically ill patients.
- Titrate vasoactive medications and other ICU drips per physician orders.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- At least 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
- Cerner EMR experience (Required)
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- ACLS (AHA) Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Pay: $2,880.00 - $3,264.00 per hour
