Our Plano-based client is looking for a Product Manager - Benefits/Insurance to drive discovery, ideation, and early-stage development of new benefit and insurance solutions. You’ll dig into unmet client needs, analyze market trends, explore new technologies, and turn promising ideas into real, testable products.
This is a direct-hire role working on-site in Plano, TX, with 35 days of remote work per year.
COMPENSATION:
Innovation Level: Total Comp $154K–$180K (Base Bonus)
Group Level: Total Comp $204K–$247K (Base Bonus)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Research client needs, market shifts, and competitive trends across benefits and insurance.
- Identify new opportunities to support clients and their employees.
- Ideate, validate, and prioritize new product concepts.
- Build business cases, briefs, and early market analyses.
- Design and prototype early-stage solutions with cross-functional partners.
- Run pilots to test feasibility, product-market fit, and ROI.
- Partner with sales, operations, legal, compliance, and client service.
- Help shape the long-term innovation roadmap.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced certifications (AIPMM, Pragmatic, IDEO) preferred.
- 5 years in product management, innovation, or strategy.
- 2 years in benefits and/or insurance.
- Experience serving SMB clients or working within SMB environments.
- Strong customer research, prototyping, and early-stage product development skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
- Strong understanding of product frameworks and innovation best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess ROI and market fit.
- Digital advice, RIA tech, or financial planning platform experience preferred.
