About the Role:
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Roanoke, VA team and help grow our parts, service, and rental business. In this field-based role, you’ll generate new leads, close deals, and provide critical services like operator training and service agreement sales. You’ll work with both new and existing customers, building strong relationships and delivering solutions that drive long-term success. If you’re motivated by commission, eager to make an impact, and enjoy working with customers face-to-face, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Cold call and actively pursue new customer business to drive parts and service growth.
- Sell preventive service agreements by presenting value and benefits to customers.
- Conduct operator training for material handling equipment to ensure proper usage and maintenance.
- Manage and coordinate the rental process for equipment, addressing customer needs and ensuring proper equipment maintenance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
