Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles with precision and care.
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
- Perform cleaning tasks in laundry areas, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Assist with the collection and delivery of laundry items throughout the facility.
- Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads safely.
