What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDM SPECIALIST position at Burteck?
Looking for a motivated individual to set-up, program and operate CNC EDM machines in a moldmaking environment. This person should have EDM experience. Job requirements and responsibilities include:
- Write programs and adjust machine settings as needed. Experience with AgieCharmilles FORM 20 is a plus
- Knowledge of the EDM process including orbital patterns, discharge gaps, and material types
- Work to .0002" tolerance
- Surface grind electrodes
- Familiarity with either EROWA or 3R systems
- Inspect electrodes and finished products using indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
