Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development (.NET/C#): Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, clean, and maintainable code; establish and enforce coding best practices through code reviews across all engineering levels.
- Technical Backlog Management: Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks in Jira; refine and document technical needs to ensure clarity and team alignment.
- Code Governance: Manage code reviews and merges into the release branch via GitLab; uphold standards for code quality and release integrity.
- Architecture Leadership: Lead the design and oversight of system architecture to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability; resolve application and client experience issues across environments and platforms.
- Mentorship & Team Development: Serve as the team's technical subject matter expert; mentor junior engineers and lead training initiatives to strengthen overall team capability.
- Security & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and proactively integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Technology Evaluation & Roadmap: Evaluate and implement emerging technologies; define strategies across the full software development lifecycle and contribute to roadmap planning, including technology selection and stakeholder communication.
- Stakeholder Communication: Define high-level application and platform architecture; clearly communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and business impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, and SQL
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases and SQL programming logic
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial lending, supporting one or more areas of the loan lifecycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology
- Experience working on geographically diverse or distributed teams
- Hands-on experience with Jira and GitLab
- Strong command of .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, and C#
