What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Architect position at Burr Salvatore Architects?
Burr Salvatore Architects is a young, growing firm of 12 people. We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Project Architect. Positions are available in our NYC Office and Darien, Connecticut.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Proficiency with single-family residential detailing, Code Compliance, QA/QC;
- Guidance and support to Junior Staff through out a project.
- Fluency in CAD and familiarity with Revit (Revit not required, but a major plus);
- Minimum bachelor's degree in architecture;
- Minimum 7-10 years work experience at an architecture firm
- Familiarity with Rhino and 3D printing is a plus, though not a requirement;
- Eligibility to work in the United States;
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
Candidates that demonstrate familiarity with detailing single-family construction will be given preference. We will be working primarily in AutoCAD, but proficiency in Revit and/or Rhino is a major asset.
