Modified 9 Cheerleading Coach - Fall Season

The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and student-centered individual to serve as the Modified 9 Cheerleading Coach for the Fall 2026 season.

The Fall Modified Cheerleading season begins August 24, 2026. The successful candidate will provide leadership and instruction while fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for student-athletes. Responsibilities include planning and conducting practices, preparing the team for games and school events, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork, supervising student-athletes, and ensuring compliance with all district, league, and NYSPHSAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous cheerleading coaching and/or competitive cheerleading experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cheerleading fundamentals, safety standards, and age-appropriate skill progression.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, families, and school staff.
• Must meet all NYS coaching certification requirements, including First Aid, CPR/AED, and any other required coaching certifications.

Season Start Date: August 24, 2026
