Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our Barbecue Team. As a Line Cook you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, your station and the teams overall success.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Desire to learn and grow as a cook and good human
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all dietary restrictions and special requests
- Assist with catering events. We do a lot of catering!!!
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- We desire good humans that will grow with our company
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Solid knife skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
