Responsible for preparing food to be served to students by complying with all applicable sanitation and health standards and following established food production programs and procedures. Assist in providing work direction to Food Service employees.

Position Overview
- Days: 5 days a week, 221 work days per year and paid holidays per contract agreement
- Hours: 7.5 hours/day (7 hrs, 30 minutes); work shift is typically 7:00 am-2:30 pm, however, flexibility is needed to work as early as 6:00 am and as late as 3:00 pm.
- Must be willing to work at any elementary school, middle school, or high school in the district based on the needs of the department; May be assigned to work at 1 or more schools each day.
- Start Date: 6/16/2026 or TBD
- Benefits: Per Unit Agreement, plus mileage between school buildings

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Obtain Level 4 Certification from School Nutrition Association within 90 days of hire
- Minnesota Certified Food Protection Manager certification withn 90 days of hire
- Must have a valid MN Driver's license
