Human Resources Director
Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
Schedule: 45 hours/week
Reports To: CEO
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Director to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will lead and modernize the company’s HR function while helping shape a strong, values-driven culture that supports continued growth and operational excellence.
The Human Resources Director will oversee all areas of human resources including talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits, and HR systems. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while developing scalable HR strategies and processes that attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and long-term organizational growth
Partner with leadership to strengthen company culture, employee experience, and core values
Serve as a strategic advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
Design and implement scalable HR systems, policies, and processes
Ensure leadership teams consistently adopt and execute HR initiatives and best practices
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Lead workforce planning efforts across multiple locations
Develop innovative recruiting strategies including digital outreach, career fairs, and trade school partnerships
Oversee recruitment systems and support the Human Resources Coordinator in day-to-day hiring operations
Guide succession planning efforts and leadership development initiatives
Ensure a positive and seamless onboarding experience for all new employees
Employee Relations, Performance & Engagement
Serve as a confidential and trusted resource for employees and managers regarding workplace concerns and employee relations matters
Support effective conflict resolution and foster positive workplace outcomes
Establish clear escalation procedures and consistent HR practices
Develop and modernize performance management systems focused on coaching, accountability, and employee growth
Lead employee engagement initiatives including internal communications, surveys, and feedback programs
Improve and streamline HR workflows, documentation, and systems
Learning & Development
Develop training and leadership development programs for both technical and non-technical roles
Support career pathing and employee growth opportunities throughout the organization
Help build a culture focused on continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
5 years of progressive HR leadership experience
Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
Experience developing scalable HR systems and processes in a growing organization
Proven leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
