Talent Acquisition Advisor
The Talent Acquisition Advisor, reporting to the VP of HR, is responsible for proactively sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support both current and future workforce needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, build strong talent pipelines, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience. The Advisor leverages market insights, sourcing strategies, and recruiting tools to identify and engage both active and passive candidates while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and execute proactive recruiting strategies to attract top talent using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing channels
- Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through direct outreach, cold calling, and innovative sourcing methods
- Review resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and assess candidate fit through structured evaluation methods and reference checks
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs using ATS and sourcing tools
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, refine job descriptions, and guide the recruitment process from intake through offer
- Extend offers and support compensation negotiations in alignment with internal guidelines and market data
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, feedback, and consistent follow-up throughout the hiring process
- Support employer branding efforts by promoting the organization through job postings, marketing initiatives, and recruitment events
- Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify process improvements
- Stay current on employment laws, compliance requirements, and industry best practices related to talent acquisition
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and strategies to enhance efficiency and quality of hire
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred
- 2?4 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition; equivalent experience may be considered
- Experience in a fast-paced environment (trucking, manufacturing, or similar industries preferred)
- Strong knowledge of EEO regulations and employment compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume recruiting environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to support employer branding and hiring initiatives
