Litigation Associate
A busy civil litigation practice in Houston, TX is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team and support a growing plaintiff-focused docket. In this role, you will work closely with senior attorneys on a mix of pre-litigation and litigation matters, including depositions, mediations, drafting pleadings, negotiations, and trial preparation. This position offers hands-on experience, early responsibility, and the opportunity to build strong litigation skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume plaintiff-side docket in collaboration with senior attorneys
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and direct settlement negotiations
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Assist with trial preparation and courtroom strategy
- Attend periodic in-office meetings and court appearances as required
- Strengthen litigation skills while receiving ongoing mentorship and training
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Texas State Bar
- 0?3 years of legal experience (plaintiff-side personal injury preferred but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset and positive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
