Accountant

We are especially interested in candidates with SAP experience and a strong understanding of accounting operations, financial controls, and business processes.
Financial & Accounting Operations
- Document and manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare monthly balance sheet uploads and supporting financial documentation
- Maintain accounting controls and support process improvement initiatives
- Review and process supplier invoices and generate customer invoices
- Prepare and process payments, reimbursements, taxes, licenses, and permits
- Partner directly with external accounting/tax firms on all tax-related matters
- Maintain current reseller permits and business compliance documentation
- Set up and maintain supplier records
- Manage bank accounts and company credit card accounts
- Submit employee travel and expense reports to corporate finance teams
- Monitor expenses and support budgeting activities
- Maintain organized electronic accounting records and shared files
- Ensure smooth internal communication and information flow
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations
- Prepare forms, reports, and operational documents as needed
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Provide backup support to the Finance Director when necessary
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Industry experience in oil & gas, lubricants, transportation, or logistics preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, controls, and financial processes
- Experience with:
- SAP (highly preferred)
- OneStream
- Power BI / Omni Analytics
- Advanced Excel skills (Macabacus experience a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and deadline management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Spanish language skills are a strong plus
