What are the responsibilities and job description for the MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - MLT position at Burnett Medical Center Inc?
Burnett Medical Center is a rural Critical Access Hospital looking for an MLT/MT to work in our busy lab. We are located just over an hour from the Twin Cities.
SHIFT/HOURS: Part-time/Full-time position, clinic and hospital labs, includes days, nights; along with every third weekend. Includes on-call rotation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generalist to perform phlebotomy, urinalysis, chemistry kit testing, hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, and molecular testing. Preventative maintenance on analyzers, quality control.
Requirements:Graduate from a Medical Laboratory Technician program.
ASCP/NCA certified.
Ability to multi-task, work independently, with great communication and customer service skills.
Prefer one (1) year hospital experience.
Epic experience a plus.
