Cheese Store Team Lead
Do you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a team? Burnett Dairy Cooperative is looking for a Cheese Store Team Lead to help keep our Cheese Store, and Ice Cream areas running smoothly.
As a Store Lead, you'll be a go-to person for both our team and our customers. You'll help train and support employees, keep the store looking its best, and make sure our customers have a great experience when they visit Burnett Dairy.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and train Cheese Store team members.
- Open and close the store and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Operate registers, handle cash, and complete daily deposits.
- Stock, rotate, price, and label our cheese and other products.
- Prepare and serve Ice Cream items.
- Keep the store areas clean and sanitary.
- Troubleshoot register, inventory, and equipment issues.
- Help with scheduling and provide backup coverage when needed.
- Follow all food safety and safety guidelines.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, positive, customer-focused, and comfortable taking the lead.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Customer service, retail, food service, or leadership experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and coaching skills.
- Cash handling/register experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and jump in wherever needed.
- Must be available for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Dependable attendance is required.

- Slip-resistant shoes are required.
- Black/khaki pants or jeans (no holes or leggings) are required.

- This is an active position that requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
