What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Deputy position at Burnet County, TX?
This in a non-supervisory position, which involves independent judgement on law enforcement matters. This position requires deputies to protect life, property and to preserve the peach and to patrol areas within the jurisdiction of Burnt County Sheriff's Office. Other requirements are to respond to emergency calls, perform civil duties, enforce the Texas Penal Code, Traffic Code, apprehend wanted person, make arrests and make reports of incidents of reportable offences. Each Deputy is required to perform related duties to fulfill the responsibilities of the Burnet County Sheriff's Office as directed by the Sheriff or his designee.
