Overview
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is seeking individuals to join our team as a deputy. The deputy performs a wide variety of law enforcement activities and functions. Deputies perform all duties in accordance with federal, state, and local statutes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold a Basic Peace Officer License (TCOLE)
- Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Be free of a criminal record (above a Class C misdemeanor)
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off
Offering:
- Starting annual salary: $55,767
- County paid medical insurance for employee
- Firearm and all duty gear provided
- TCDRS Retirement
- Take home vehicle for those living within 40 air miles of the county line
