GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position requires the ability to make independent decisions. Performs investigative work in support of prosecution activities of the District Attorney's Office. Work involves investigating various parties and documentation associated with felony criminal cases that may be prosecuted by the District. Job may involve local travel throughout the district including Burnet, Blanco, Llano and San Saba Counties. Requires over 40-hour work week and availability to be on-call.

Must hold and maintain a Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
