Position Summary: 

This role is more than a BUSSER, it is the opportunity to be a part of a team that brings people through food, culture. and shared experience. At Alisio`s, every detail contributes to the guest's journey, and your role helps create a space that feels welcoming, cared for, and connected. 

A BUSSER, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment and supporting the flow of service. Your attention to detail and sense of urgency helps ensure a smooth experience for both guest and team, contributing to a positive and memorable visit for everyone who walks through the doors. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Clear, clean and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth flow or service
• Assist servers by refilling water, bringing extra utensils, and delivering food when needed
• Help with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after shifts
• Support kitchen and waitstaff by running food and assisting in other tasks as needed
• Work as part of a team to provide an outstanding guest experience
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guest and team members
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe restaurant environment
• Transport full bus bins to dishwasher regularly 
• Routinely sweep and mop floors, wipe windows and mirrors and take out the trash, recycling and compost when full

Qualifications: 

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Working knowledge of spirits, wine and food
• Awareness of basic safety sanitation policies
• Ability to acquire a Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification and RBS (Alcohol) certification (before or within 2 weeks of hire date)
