About the Position
Burlington Safety Laboratory is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Field Technician / Commercial Delivery Driver to join our team. This unique dual-role position combines technical field service work with commercial delivery responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
Field Technician Responsibilities
- Clean, calibrate, test, repair, and certify electrical testing instruments and equipment.
- Perform on-site inspections, testing, and service work at customer locations.
- Accurately record and organize testing data using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare and submit service reports and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment status and service requirements.
- Follow all company quality, safety, and compliance procedures.
Commercial Delivery Driver Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver electrical testing equipment to and from customer locations.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment for transport.
- Maintain accurate shipping, delivery, and service documentation.
- Communicate customer requests and special instructions to management.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance such as oil changes and scheduled service.
- Operate company vehicles safely and professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience preferred (training provided).
- Must have previous commercial delivery driving experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating commercial vans and 26-foot box trucks.
- U.S. Citizen with a valid REAL ID or U.S. Passport.
- No prior criminal convictions that would prohibit access to Government, Military, Federal Buildings, or other secure customer facilities.
- Ability to pass a Non-DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Must have valid and maintain Medical Examiner's Card.
- Ability to pass Government background checks when required.
- Must be eligible to access Government, Military, and Federal Correctional facilities.
- Ability to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel.
- Must consent to MVR Report.

Schedule

Must start and end day at our facility in Burlington, NJ, except for over night traveling.
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
