The staffing coordinator / scheduler position is one of our most important and fundamental job opportunities. This person will be responsible for completing, maintaining and updating the schedules of our nurses and nursing assistants. Competency of our scheduling system is required, and training will be provided as needed.
Experience and understanding of a rotating nursing schedule perferred.
Scheduler’s responsibilities :
- Schedule available staff / employees to meet facility needs and maintain resident / staff ratios as required.
- Preparing schedules for new employees.
- Daily documentation on required forms.
- Tracking vacation time, absences, weekend make up shifts, ect.
- Attending meetings as required.
