Responsibilities
- Vigilantly observe pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure a secure environment for all guests
- Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks
- Assist guests with pool access, provide swimming guidance, and address guest inquiries with professionalism
- Conduct routine inspections of pool facilities, including filtration systems and surrounding areas
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed, following established protocols to stabilize injured individuals
- Maintain accurate records of safety checks, incident reports, and pool maintenance activities
Experience
- Previous lifeguard experience or certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross or equivalent)
- Valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification and First Aid training
- Demonstrated ability in swimming with strong water competency skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting(50-100 pounds) when necessary for pool equipment or supplies
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to pool operations and guest services
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining alertness and professionalism
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
