Qualifications
- NJDOE School Administrator or Principal Certification (required)
- Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Special Education teacher, Guidance Counselor, or Child Study Team member
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative leadership experience in a public school district (Principal or Director preferred)
- Special education programs and services
- Instructional strategies and learning styles for students receiving special services
- Program development and evaluation
- Child Study Team services
- Guidance and health services
- Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
- NJAC 6A:14, Chapters 26 & 28
- Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (USPL 93-112) and ADA Amendments Act of 2008
