Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations of the business. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities including daily office tasks, bookkeeping support, customer communication, scheduling, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Administrative Support
- Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain organized filing systems and company records
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments
- Prepare reports, documents, spreadsheets, presentations and correspondence
- Oversee incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
- Assist with event planning, trade shows, and farm promotions
Bookkeeping & Financial Support
- Enter and maintain financial records accurately
- Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports
- Work with accounting software and financial spreadsheets
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software experience
