What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Svcs Attendant (Floor Tech) Day Shift, Full-time position at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital?
Job Summary: Responsible for the floor care in the hospital, including but not limited to: stripping and refinishing floors, shampooing carpets, and other duties related to floor care as directed by the supervisor. Cleans and services Hospital building areas and performs a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain the Hospital in an orderly and sanitary condition. Ability to interact with customers following the service excellence culture of the hospital.
Demonstrates ability to read and comprehend English, such as typically acquired through a 6th grade education. Related work experience preferred. Ability to use floor burnisher. Ability to work with other staff and patients. Ability to follow directions well and work independently when needed. Ability to work with other staff and patients. Job requires the ability to stand on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to bend and lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to cover one in every three weekends a month.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm. Must be able to cover one in every three weekends a month.
Actual offer will depend upon a number of factors including evening differential pay.
