Compensation: $42,120 - $43,555 annually, depending on qualifications and experience

Position Overview
Burke is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to provide skills training, case management, and supportive mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families across a six-county service area (Angelina, Trinity, Sabine, Newton, and Houston counties).
This position delivers services in accordance with each consumer's approved treatment plan and in compliance with Agency and Medicaid standards. The clinician may also conduct emergency assessments as needed and must maintain accurate, timely documentation.
Travel throughout the service area is a required component of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Provide mental health skills training and support services to children, adolescents, and families
Deliver case management and therapeutic support aligned with approved treatment plans
Conduct emergency mental health assessments as warranted
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
Collaborate with families, providers, and internal team members
Adhere to Agency policies and Medicaid standards
Travel routinely throughout the six-county service area
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services discipline that meets QMHP requirements. Acceptable fields include psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, education (including special education, early childhood education, educational psychology, or early childhood intervention), nursing, medicine, physician assistant, rehabilitation, gerontology, or a related field.
Experience
Preferred: Six (6) months of direct care experience working with children or adolescents in a behavioral health or educational setting. Knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development and familiarity with DSM-IV diagnostic criteria are preferred.
Licenses & Additional Requirements
Valid Texas driver's license with an insurable driving record
Reliable personal vehicle
Ability to complete required training, including Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA), CPR/First Aid, and Defensive Driving
Preferred Certification:
Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW)
Physical Requirements
Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to drive frequently within the service area
Hand and finger dexterity for documentation and routine tasks
