Job Overview
Burk Erectors is seeking a highly motivated, dependable and experienced PEMB Erector Right Hand/Lead to join our construction team. This pivotal role involves assisting the foreman in the erection of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). As a key team member, you will be responsible for supporting foreman reading blueprints, metal building erection, supervising and training crew members and ensuring safety compliance (OSHA) throughout all phases of construction. Must be able to communicate effectively with GC's and supervisors/employees from other companies on job sites. Must be able to travel when needed. Pay will be discussed based on experience. Responsibilities
- Assist the foreman in the assembly and erection of pre-engineered metal building components according to detailed construction plans and blueprints.
- Operate forklifts
- Use hand tools & power tools
- Follow all safety regulations including federal construction safety standards and site-specific protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on PEMB.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations applicable to Metal Building Erection and Construction
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to support the foreman in managing multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
