Water/Wastewater Project Manager / Sr. Design Engineer

Burgess & Niple is looking for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager/Sr. Design Engineer to join our team in our Evansville, Cincinnati, Louisville, or Indianapolis Offices. Design and manage impactful water/wastewater infrastructure projects including collection systems, lift stations, and treatment facilities while building strong client relationships. Lead project teams through the full delivery process, balancing technical work with business development in a collaborative environment. B&N Water/Wastewater Project Manager & Sr. Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects. Projects may include designs of wastewater collection system sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations, and/or studies of wastewater and water systems
• Coordinate with B&N project teams, internally and externally
• Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management
• Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process
• Promote a positive team environment that enhances our exceptional corporate culture
• Maintain quality control of services and deliverables
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited engineering program
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana is a plus
• 8 to 20 years of related water/wastewater experience
• Self-motivated and adaptable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Project management experience a plus. Treatment process knowledge and experience is a plus
• Hydraulic modeling of collection systems and/or distribution systems is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or hydraulic modeling software is a plus
