- Monitor work of contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance for roadway, structure, and bridge construction
- Monitor contractor’s operations to ensure compliance with contract terms and specifications
- Provide general inspection on construction labor and subcontracted tasks
- Provide report of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, and quantity of materials received
- Perform on-site material testing and verification
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
- Create and compile close out/final construction records documents for submission
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- All required jurisdictional certificates and statement requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- Use of general software packages, Microsoft Office
- Ability to obtain all 6 INDOT Certified Technician Courses in first year of employment
