The Dental Assistant supports the Dentist in delivering quality patient care within a general dentistry practice. This role involves preparing patients for treatment, sterilizing instruments, performing dental radiography, and assisting chairside during procedures. Working closely with the dental team, the assistant ensures efficient practice operations and adherence to infection control standards. The position reports directly to the Dentist and utilizes specific practice management software to maintain accurate patient records.
Pay commersurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and explain treatment steps
- Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
- Perform dental radiography in compliance with safety guidelines
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatments
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in dental assisting
- Certificate in Dental Assisting
