Responsibilities
- Expedite food orders from the kitchen to ensure timely delivery to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages efficiently, supporting smooth table service during busy hours.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS to relay special requests or modifications.
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards.
- Uphold food safety and handling procedures in accordance with health regulations to ensure guest safety.
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to engage with guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk swiftly between tables and kitchen stations, and lift moderate loads when necessary.
- Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is beneficial for supporting food prep tasks.
