Duties
- Deliver hot and cold dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and ensuring guest needs are promptly met
- Handle food handling responsibilities with care, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as garnishing or plating
- Use POS systems like Toast to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing plates and resetting tables for new guests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus
- Experience with banquet service, bussing, or catering enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing excellent guest service
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
