Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our Burger King locations in Savannah, GA. This full-time position is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service equipment repair and will play a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-functioning restaurant environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Prioritize and complete equipment repairs in a timely and effective manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of restaurant equipment, including Fryers, grills, walk-in freezers/coolers, ice machines, ovens, etc. Electrical systems, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, and painting.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
- Implement preventive maintenance procedures as directed.
- Minimize disruption to restaurant operations by coordinating repair schedules efficiently.
- Accurately diagnose malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs for repairs and replacements.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and initiative.
- Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, plans, and manuals.
- Capability to perform both minor and major technical repairs efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or certification (e.g., EPA, CFESA, HVAC, etc.) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in a service industry role (appliance repair, kitchen equipment repair, HVAC, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
