Job Summary
The Conduit Pull Technician is responsible for installing, pulling, placing, and supporting telecommunications infrastructure within underground conduit systems for fiber optic deployments. This role performs conduit preparation, fiber pulling, inner-duct installation, pull tape placement, and related telecommunications construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.
The Conduit Pull Technician works closely with construction crews, foremen, subcontractors, and field leadership to support successful telecommunications network deployment and infrastructure installation operations.
The Conduit Pull Technician works closely with Installation techs, MSO/Customers, and field leadership to support successful telecommunications service installations and network deployment operations.
Document completed work, and conduit conditions. Submit completed daily work report emails.
Year round work, local crews are preferred.
Pay is production based.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass MVR, background, and drug screen. Ability to read locate markings and follow utility locate requirements. Lift up to 75 pounds. Safely operate construction and pulling equipment, machinery, hand tools, and power tools. Stand, walk, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday in varying weather conditions without aid.
Other Requirements
Follow safe 811 safe digging practices, involving fiber pulling equipment, confined spaces, underground utilities, and construction environments. Conduit pull, equipment, truck, and machine skills and experienced preferred. Have a working mobile phone with an active phone number and email address.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
