Job Summary: The Franchisee Excellence Team is responsible for supporting BURGER KING® Franchisees to enable Franchisee success, increase Franchisee engagement, and prepare Franchisees with foundational skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in their businesses. The Manager of Franchisee Excellence will be responsible for the development, management and continuous improvement of BK’s Franchisee Training programs. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Franchisee Excellence & Support who in turn reports to the Director of Franchisee Excellence & Support for Burger King North America.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Enable Franchisee success through the creation and delivery of robust learning programs
Lead the implementation of projects with Franchisees to ensure timely scaling of supported
Increase new Franchisee engagement through the delivery of targeted learning programs.
Assist in the onboarding and skill development of new and existing corporate field team members.
Collaborate with corporate field teams, cross-functional partners, and Franchisees to support the execution of operations support programs.
Provide ongoing assessment of Franchisee capability and opportunities for training interventions
Help identify opportunities to improve and innovate new training systems.
Serve as an internal consultant with cross-functional teams and brand ambassador with Franchisees.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working in restaurant management, specifically QSR and/or fast casual preferred
5+ years of professional experience in operations and/or client success roles; consulting experience is a plus
Excellent training facilitation skills
Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Experience in supporting project management tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist in developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and Franchisees
Basic understanding of franchise business models, restaurant P&L, and performance
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Bachelor's degree preferred
Willingness to travel approximately 25%
