Duties

  • You will manage, create, and utilize robotic software automation or robotic process automation (BOT) to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • You will advise leadership on the impact and requirements to change or implement robotic software automation or BOT.
  • You will utilize current BOT coding languages such as Visual Basic, C , JAVA, Python, etc.
  • You will ensure applicable system business rules are adhered to and that users have their needs met.
  • You will conduct tests to ensure continuing functionality.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, or other software to automate processes; 2) Managing eCRM (Salesforce) dashboards and data to improve organization productivity and effectiveness; 3) Determining the purpose, design, platform, integration sites, and outputs/products of automation; 4) Ensuring the availability of the data needed to answer questions or solve a problem even if multiple data repositories are required.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;

or

LL.M., if related.
