Job Title: Sawmill General Labor (Heavy Duty)
Location: Enfield, NC
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 4 Days a Week
Pay: $14.00/hour (90-day probationary period with potential $2.00/hour increase based on performance and attendance)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our sawmill operation. The role involves physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment, including the assembly of precut wooden pieces used to manufacture wood reels for winding cables or strands.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble wooden components using hand and power tools.

Follow instructions provided by the lead person or supervisor.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.

Adhere to all safety procedures and company protocols.

Operate tools such as grinders, sanders, hammers, and nail guns as needed.

Support general mill operations as assigned.
Requirements:

Must wear steel-toe shoes at all times on-site (mandatory).

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to lift 45–55 lbs regularly.

Comfortable working in changing/inclement weather conditions.

Must be able to bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions.

Ability to read a tape measure and work with basic tools.

Strong adherence to safety, time, and attendance policies.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
