What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Jewelry Inventory Coordinator position at Burdeens Jewelry Ltd?
Assist VP of Fine Jewelry Strategy with driving sales performance through data analysis and operational execution. Support merchandising strategy through standardization of SKU descriptions and retail markups, quoting and placing special orders and custom requests, and acting as a jewelry resource within the company.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize SKU data integrity, standardizing product descriptions and pricing structures to ensure consistency across systems
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets with a strong focus on data entry
- Assist with diamond and gemstone requests
- Analyze inventory performance and provide data-driven reorder recommendations to maximize sales and minimize excess stock
- Partner with Operations to ensure accurate SKU creation, pricing updates, and system alignment
- Coordinate special orders and custom jewelry requests, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment
- Support purchase order creation and vendor communications to streamline product acquisition
- Manage inventory levels across locations, ensuring optimal stock distribution and availability
- Execute stock balancing initiatives
- Assist with store transfers and returns to vendors
- Lead quarterly pricing updates and retagging initiatives to reflect market adjustments
- Conduct product and data research to resolve discrepancies, including missing tags and incomplete records
- Generate and analyze monthly reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee vendor incentive program tracking and reporting
- Serve as a product knowledge resource for sales teams, enhancing their ability to sell effectively
- Ensure all merchandise meets brand standards through ongoing quality control review
