Position Summary:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and incoming calls. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing the front desk, and supporting office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx/UPS shipments, and interoffice mail.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, or conference rooms as needed.
- Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Provide support to various departments by completing clerical tasks as assigned.
- Maintain office supplies for the front desk area and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, guests, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1β2 years of receptionist or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally (e.g., packages, office supplies).
