McCue, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support sales operations and deliver excellent customer service to key accounts and General Contractors. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, assists with quotes and orders, and coordinates with internal teams to ensure timely responses and solutions. The position also maintains CRM records, supports account management activities, and helps strengthen customer relationships while identifying opportunities to support sales growth.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service to ensure an “easy to do business with” customer experience
- Provide general account, clerical, and sales support functions including order processing, return authorizations, client configurations, customer service, and reporting
- Produce accurate, high-quality work while making efficient use of time and resources
- Anticipate potential issues and recommend solutions
- Respond to or redirect inquiries from distributors, end-users, and manufacturers’ representatives
- Work with manufacturers’ representatives to promote new and innovative products
- Accurately answer questions regarding products and their applications
- Identify “Good, Better, Best” product alternatives across product categories
- Work independently or collaboratively with other departments to ensure goals and objectives are met
- Maintain strong working relationships with team members through regular communication and feedback
- Apply and support new work processes that improve team efficiency
- Serve as an on-site E-Commerce and Intranet resource
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous client interaction and distribution experience is a plus
- Ability to provide superior customer service to both internal and external clients
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to recommend solutions and resolve issues
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Sales and goal-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software and technologies
- Ability to follow established procedures while also identifying creative alternatives when appropriate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and determine appropriate actions based on prior experience
