Provide professional technical support and customer service to BUNN customers, primarily via telephone. This role includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to beverage equipment, guiding customers through operational concerns, and supporting service solutions. Occasional in-person support, including installations and training, may be required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Respond to incoming customer calls and provide timely, accurate technical assistance for all BUNN beverage equipment serviced.
- Diagnose equipment issues and walk customers through troubleshooting and repair steps over the phone.
- Verify warranty coverage and communicate eligibility to customers.
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach while resolving technical and service-related inquiries.
- Document product performance feedback to support ongoing quality improvements and corrective actions.
- Travel as needed for installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer training.
- Develop a working knowledge of water chemistry, coffee brewing processes, and beverage equipment functionality.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Teams and contribute to continuous service enhancement.
- Business hours between 7am – 7pm, with various shift options available
- Participates in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of regular business hours
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work on-site at our Global Headquarters in Springfield, IL. Previous experience in technical customer service or hands-on repair of electromechanical equipment strongly preferred. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair small appliances or beverage equipment.
Willingness and availability to travel for field service support and training. CFESA certification, BUNN Certified Technician status are highly desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent phone etiquette. Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
